Poor Colby, these teeth just don't make things easy....He started getting a low-grade fever on Sunday, and so I was blaming his 3 new teeth...until Monday evening when it got up to 103.7 and was up through the night, and he was awake every hour, and still about 102.4--103.2 Tuesday am. So I called the doctor's office & got the little buggar in--he's got an ear infection, just as I suspected! She gave him a Rocephin shot and a Rx for Amoxicillin, so we went & stocked up on tylenol/motrin, diapers, wipes, and desitin!! :P Hopefully he'll do fine on it. He's sleeping now, praying for a good night's sleep. Poor fella!! But he'll be back to normal in no time! Otherwise, we had a good weekend. Didn't do much on Saturday, went to Menards & looked at some stuff for the house. Sunday we just went to Grand Island shoppin and hangin out. The boys were excited to see Grandpa Jack & Grandma Angie...and Amy (their dog)!!

Colby claps like such a big boy now, he says "yaaayy" and just claps!! It is so cute, probably my favorite thing he does right now...other than reach for me and say mamama. : ) Nate was so proud tonite cuz he was doing it during the CUBS game. : ) Silly boys!! He's sooo close to crawling, but rolls across the room in record time. : ) Giggles NONSTOP at his brother!! And the LITTLE guy weighed in at 23.2 lbs today!!

Ryan's so sweet, the other day a fire truck/ambulance/police went by, and he was watching out the window. He said "Mommy, some people got big owies. Some people need help". Aw, what a sweetie. : ) He's sharing with his brother alot lately, and hugging him. :) Or pushing him over....hmmm. Ornery!! He's so darn smart, talks in paragraphs now, just jabbers all the time. I love it, it's such a hoot to listen to. Except when he's telling one of us to stop it---"Pop it, Mom" or "Pop it Colby" or "Pop it, Dad".......Ooops. : ) He's quite the kid. Comes up with some very funny things. And is soooo cute. Bought him some Nemo & Thomas the train underwear! Ha! How funny!! He doesn't want to go in the potty yet, but sure likes those undies.....So cute!! : ) Dances around, has to check himself out in the mirror. :) Funny boy.

Well, I'd say after our long night last night, I should get some sleep!! No telling what tonite will bring!! :) Hopefully zzzzzzz's. :) I'm workin tomorrow, and then I'm off for almost a week! Who-hoo! We're gonna try & get some painting done in the house over the long weekend....so keep your fingers crossed!!! Saturday's my Mom's birthday, and we're spending the day together. Garage sales & Pedicures! Yay!! : ) Lookin forward to it!!

Whew! Colby broke through 3 teeth in a week. Can we say Looooong week? : ) Thank the Lord for Tylenol & Motrin. : ) Sweet baby, had to feel bad for him! Broke through both top middle & the left top fang. So he went from 3 to 6 teeth in a matter of days. Glad to have my happy baby back! : ) And looking cuter than ever!! He now has 2 bottom & 4 top teeth. Aw!!

Mother's Day

Well, What a blessed Mother's Day!! It was a beautiful, wonderful, relaxing day. We went to church this morning, came home & relaxed for awhile.Then this afternoon we got to have lunch with my Grandparents (all of them!!), Parents, and my Brother & family. We came back to our house and PLAYED outside for a couple of hours, and had a ball as you can see!! Ryan was STOKED to have his cousin Noah & Aleah here to play with!! They had so much fun!! We had Ice Cream cake from Dairy Queen, and just hung out. It was really really fun. My hubby & boys blessed me with fun gifts & neat cards, and my parent's got me a really neat book. My favorite part was just being here with my family. I really enjoyed the day. My babies are the best, cutest, snuggliest, sweetest babies every and I am so blessed to be their Momma!!!

My Cousin Shawn & I--2005--VERY PREGNANT!!


I've been thinking about my cousin Shawn alot today. I guess probably since it's Mother's Day, and as I was playing with Ryan, I got thinking about being pregnant with him, and how Shawn & I were due only 6 wks apart. Shawn & her family were just on my heart today, and Mom had brought down some pictures,which made me look back and I found this one from my baby shower. Thought it was cute, and made me cry, and miss her. Losing her in December sometimes still doesn't seem real. She was so full of life, and we had probably spent more time together over the last year than we really had in a long time. I babysat Jordan several times a week over last winter, so we chatted alot and emailed alot and kind of got to know each other all over again. I think about her alot, and thought today would be a good time to think out loud. Miss you Shawn.

NEW NEW NEW!!!

Well hello! Here are a bunch of newer pictures. Every time I get around to cleaning off my camera, there are about a hundred to choose from! :) We've just returned from a crazy busy weekend. We were in North Platte!! I had a continuing education seminar out there this weekend, so we loaded up the boys and my parents and headed out! My Aunt & Uncle live out there, so we thought it'd be a good time for a mini reunion!! They have 3 girls, and haven't seen the boys forever, so we thought it'd be perfect timing!! What a hoot, I dont' think I've ever seen Hope exhausted like that before--good job Ryan!! :) He calls her "Opey" and LOVES LOVES LOVES her. He talked all the way home aobut Opey, and Justine & Taylor too ( I dont' know how to write the way he says their names...but it's cute. :) He hauled those girls all over the place for 3 days, I bet everyone slept good last night, lol. At any rate, the weekend was a success, I got my CEU's and everyone got to visit!! Thanks again for the hospitality, guys! We appreciated it!! Love ya!!

In other news, Colby says Da Da Da all the time....and has now added Ma Ma Ma!!! YAY!! :) SO cute, he folds his top lip over and just goes to town saying it. He looks like the cutest little old man ever!! :) He's workin on a few more teeth, they've gotta be close cuz we can almost see them!! And he's SOOOO close to crawling, has been getting up on all 4's for the last couple of days!! Won't be long!! He'll literally follow Ryan everywhere. Ryan can't be in the room without Colby's eyes on him!! :) He just squeals so excited when brother comes boppin in the room!! He's been pretty attached to my Dad lately, Pa-Paw leaves the room and he throws a fit! :) The little cutie has started making even funnier faces. Now he squints his eyes shut and grins, shows us those cute toofers!! Got to take his first bath with brother, hilarious. They both giggled so much!! And got his first haircut!! SOOO CUTE and did so well. Still loves his Jumperoo, my gosh just about has worn out the springs!! He took a great nap today....and so did Mom & Ryan...Aagh. It was needed and APPRECIATED. :) So then I have the engery to do this...but before CSI Miami!! :)

Ryan is a hoot. I just wish you could all see him. He's the cutest funniest thing ever. Says the goofiest things, told me today that "babies say ma ma and big boys say mommy". Thanks for the correction big guy. : ) We saw a funny video on YouTube of a baby biting his brother, and Ryan was laughing so hard. Check it out, " Charlie Bit Me" . So he was saying that today, Charlie bit me, mom... Oh geez. Ryan's been in heaven since our friend Jenelle was here. She brought a box of toys for him---cool old toys, GI Joes, TMNTurtles, Karate Kid, Gladiator, you name it! He's in hog heaven. LOVING IT NELLY!!! : ) As I said, Ryan sure enjoyed his wekeend. He told me this morning he missed Hopey, "Opey" as he says. We made his first trip to Cabelas this weekend, he thought that was pretty neat, all those fishies and deer!!! Colby got a cute Cabelas sippie cup. :) We played outside for about an hour this morning, what a beautiful day!! It was a blast, both boys & mommy enjoyed the fresh air. Well I suppose I should stop the novel for now, it could take days to write all the cute stuff down!! :) Take Care, All!! : )
