This weekend we got to have our nephew Noah stay with us! It was really fun having all 3 boys together, they really did well. I couldn't believe how well they all shared and played! Couldn't wait to see where the other one went, they even napped at the same times!! Amen!! :) LOL. We loved every minute of having him here. The boys were inseparable, all 3 of them. They all slept well, and were looking for each other ASAP in the morning! We went to the park & played, took baths, watched cartoons, played in the backyard, whew! What FUN!!!! It's fun to watch the 3 of them grow together, within the next several of weeks, they will be ages 3,2,1~!!! :)

Ryan LOVES to swing, Colby's like...eh, ok!! :)

Daddy/Uncle Nate was giving some awesome under-dogs. :)

The boys (Ryan & Noah) were just belly laughing!!!

Washin away the dirt--see how clean we are!?!? And CUTE!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!

Our 3 handsome boys. : )

And yes, our pretty pooch! Hi Holly!! She does GREAT with the kids. They hug her and pull on her and she either puts up with it...or runs. : )

Noah's helping Ryan add to the thousands of miles on the mower.

Loves this bouncy ball!

Ok, Mom. I'll swing again!! : )

Watch out below!!!!

I think he got bonked. :P

Oh my poor little fella!! He, new walker that he is, tripped and bonked hard!! :( Talk about a major nosedive!!!!! He forgot about it before I will, that's for sure. Good thing he's tough!!

So we had a great weekend. Had a ball with Noah, and then Sunday nite Ryan got to go to BooBoo & PaPaw's house and spend the night and hang out with BooBoo all day Monday!! Now that's a post for another time!! : ) He had FUN!!! It actually worked out that Mom had Ryan on Monday, cuz Colby started not feeling too well, but we were thinking teeth. He was not eating or sleeping well, was droolin, kinda lost his voice, low-grade temp. Then Sunday nite/Monday morning got alot more cranky, uncomfortable, not doing very well at all. So I took him in on Monday, and Dr said he has the hand-foot-mouth virus. He's got some nasty red, ulcerated sores in the back of this throat. Poor little guy! Well the diagnoses didn't really worry me, I knew it'd get better. Just gotta hang in there, cuz it's kinda rough. Ryan had it one time too, when he was about this age. I kinda self diagnosed it cuz I saw the little sores on his heels & palms of his hands, and he had the fussies, not eatin well, etc too. Then I took him in for a routine check up and he still had some sores in his mouth. He got over it fairly quickly. But poor colby pants has a worse case of it, so we're more than ready for it to be done!! He's doin alot better today than yesterday, whew. I did notice a couple of little sores on his heels this morning. But the Motrin/Tylenol is working. And since Ryan's had it, even if he would "contract" it again it would barely be noticeable, as far as I know. Most kids have been exposed to it their first 12-18 mos of life & build immunity, but anyone can technically get it. Some hardly notice, others have a tougher time. But!! We're on the mend, and much happier baby today!!!

We took the kiddos to Lincoln to the Children's Museum last weekend, what a ball!! It was so much fun, and they both had a blast!! There are so many cool things in there. I remember going when I was little and my favorite was the grocery store & doctor's office. :) Still is.... he he. It was so neat watching their imaginations take hold & go. Of course, we had to drag them away from the train tables to get them to see anything else, but then...!!! :) It was awesome. Colby's favorite was the "vet's office". He saw all those puppies in there, and just squealed!! He was so excited! As for Ryan's favorite, it was a toss up between the train tables & the real john deere tractor cab! They also loved the "construction zones", "pizzeria", "bank", "radio station", and all the other stuff. I read on their website that they have 45,500 square feet of play. How cool is that? Just look at the pics! Or better yet, go play!!!
My astronaut baby

Well at last, here we have it. More and more and more pictures!! :) It's just been a really busy few weeks around here, I guess. I've thought many times that I needed to get this updated, but hey! What's a mom to do! Especially when her baby has been practicing WALKING!!! YEAH!! Colby started really walking last week, now he just loves to go! Doesn't think twice about letting go and takin off! Makes it most the way across a room and then plops. :) Can still crawl faster, ya know!! But then, up he goes again!! And Ryan loves it, laughs at him. Calls to me "Mom, Colby walking!!!!! Mom, Colby on my bed!!!" :) Only problem is, he doesn't know how to get down off of said bed...without falling! So we've been stickin even closer when he goes into Ryan's room to play!! They are so darn cute, playing together alot now and already starting to wrestle. :) I feel alot of band-aids coming on. Lol.
Ryan's doing so many big boy things now. Such as a couple of weeks ago when I heard his bedroom door open and close around midnight, so i got up to check on him and he wasn't in his bed!! He was sittin on the couch, watching baseball of all things!! I said, "Big guy, watcha doin?" He said "Watchin Cubs Mom. I want milk.". LOL> I said, no you don't!! Back to bed!! :) He RARELY gets up at night, so it was just funny. Everything is "No Mom, Ryan do it." or "I not want to do that. I not want to eat. I not want to go potty. Etc!!" Very smart & independent to boot!! :) Says some hilarious things. Such a snuggle butt when he wants to be. What a joy, he is amazing. :)
So many pictures, so little time. :) I'll let them tell their own stories. :)
Yup, you know it! WALKED to our room & found Daddy's carmex on the night stand!!

Oh my gosh. Ryan found a FAVORITE friend in my cousin Mitchell. He had a ball with him, wouldn't let him out of his sight! And bless Mitch's heart, he just played with him!! :)
Helpin Grandpa Jack aerate the grass...I think!?!?!?!
Shaving like daddy, ya know! Such a big boy!!!

The End!! Colby pants ready to go swimmin outside!! ! :)
We've really had a good summer, the boys are so much fun. I can't wait until it is a little cooler outside so I can put them in the stroller and walk to the park or to my Grandma's house again, and actually be able to play! Fall will be great!! :)
Nate's really liking his new job. He started a few weeks ago out at ADM (the corn plant) as a PC Tech; has alot more responsibility & things to do. He really likes it and the people he's workin with. Lots of guys his age to talk to, and he says he's already learnin alot.
I have been working 3 days/week for quite some time now, but am going back to my 2 days/week starting this week. It's really nice to be able to have that extra day back at home with my babies. :) I'm excited! Nothin better than being mommy. :) I loved being home last week when Colby actually took off and WALKED for the first time!! And I love hearing "MaMa" over the monitor when he wakes up from a nap. I love Ryan saying "Mommy, come play with my toys and me" and snuggling up to watch morning cartoons. :) I love when they take a nap together (ha!) and I can get some stuff done around here. I love watching them play together and giggle. I love hearing Ryan say "I stay home with Mom" and Colby learning so many new things!! What a JOY!!!! : )
