Yeah...well that thing I said last time about starting a new week!?!? We sure did! And guess what--Mommy's turn to be sick. :( Ugh!! I'm on the mend now, starting to feel a little better but for about the last 6 days I've not felt so well! A sore throat like no other; plugged, sore ears; headache & congestion! Sounds like...well, no fun! I'm on some antibiotics now though, and startin to feel a little more like myself--believe me, my family will be glad when Mom's not so tired & cranky!! But bless their hearts, Ryan told me to sit on the couch & he'll make me some soup. : ) Aww!!! So darn sweet!

Of course I haven't been too ill to get some great pictures! Those boys of mine just scream PHOTO OP!!! : ) They've been having a ball! We went to Grand Island over the weekend, and they had sooo much fun with Grandpa Jack & Grandma Angie--but can you actually believe I forgot my camera? So I took pics on theirs--just don't have them yet. Just wait, I'll get them up sooner or later!! : ) Ryan & Grandpa Jack set up the tent & camped out in the living room--how cute is that!?!? : ) Nate & I got to have ourselves a little date, went to "Yes Man", Jim Carrey's movie--pretty funny stuff!!

Of course, a week wouldn't be complete without hangin out with BooBoo & PaPaw! They love to play & goof around with the boys; they RUN to the door when BooBoo & PaPaw get here!!!

New in our house, Colby graduated from the high chair to the booster at the table,just like brother!! So proud, I tell you!! :) They sit & grin at each other across the table. How FUN!! Ryan loves to spin in circles, then tells me "I'm busy,Mom"!! Busy?!?! For sure!

Had to post a few more pictures! : ) It's been kind of a bummer weekend; Ryan's had the stomach flu & a cold. We're on the mend, and back to playing at least!! You know when he is stationary on the couch, that he's not feeling well. He did end up with a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and a bit of a cold. Thank goodness it doesn't last long, and we just keep prayin that Colby doesn't get it too! He's not shown any signs so far--and he's just back to normal after an ear infection and 4 TEETH!!! :) Will be glad to get on with next week, Nuff said!! : )

And a Happy New Year!!

Amazing that 2008 is gone & done...and 2009 is underway!! We had an extremely exciting New Year's Eve--got groceries, and after the kiddoes went to bed, we had sparkling cider, watched a movie (The House Bunny--HILARIOUS!!!) and were in bed before our midnight--however, we watched the Time Square ball fall at their Midnight & shared a smooch, so we figured that counted. :) It was a good night! We did just enjoy relaxin at home, snuggled under our blankets, havin snacks while watchin our movie--it was nice. :)
The boys are enjoying their plentiful Christmas gifts, and I've finally found (at least temporary) homes for the new goods!! :) We gave a couple of boxes of toys to the Columbus Jaycees toy drive before Christmas, so that helped clear some space & bless some other little kiddies too. Ryan helped me pick out the toys and fill up the boxes, bless his heart!! He's learnin!!
Such good babies, we've had a good week. We're sleeping again, after getting poor Colby on some antibiotics--he broke through 4 TEETH this week and with all the drainage, runny nose, etc he ended up with an ear infection & did not sleep well for several nights. But he's got the teeth through & the ear on the mend, so it's been a much better week!! :) Ryan's doin great, maybe a little cold or allergies, hard to tell but otherwise he's still runnin & playin!!
They are really enjoying their new train table & train sets, along with all of their other goods. It's a fun BLESSING to be able and give them such nice Christmas gifts and watch their joy. Those boys are amazing little blessings, and I sure do love them!!
Colby is such a little pistol and so darn funny. He knows what he wants, that's for sure. Hidden vocabulary I say--when he wants to talk he does, but otherwise forget it!! haha!! Tries to pull me up literally if I'm sitting and he wants me standing so I can hold him. Get's so mad!! :) Blows kisses, waves night-night to anything or anyone he sees sleeping (even in his books!!). Loves to go shoppin with his new shoppin cart! Holds on to brother's shirt and they make a "Ryan-Colby choo-choo"!! So cute! They giggle just alike too.
Ryan has decided for the most part he doesn't need rocked at night anymore. :( SO SAD for Mommy!! But he still wants us to tuck him in, just sit by his bed & talk/sing/read and snuggle. So as long as we still get the snuggling, it's all good. :) He's doin really well goin in the potty, as long as we remind him. He's still often "too busy, Mom" to just go on his own. But he likes his CARS pull-ups, so it's a good help!! :) Loves to help us both around the house, between "fixin" things with daddy & "cleanin" with me, I don't know what we'd do without him!! Such a personality, that kid. Funnier than ever. I'll try to get more pictures uploaded if it'll let me now. :)
