Smolek Happenings!!

So can you believe I'm finally getting around to an update! I can't believe it's been almost a month since I did this. Crazy!! We've been pretty busy, the usual. The boys are great, growing like crazy. I think they've both grown another inch this fall. Both of them need new pants, lol...they keep getting shorter!! I go to get them dressed and think I have it covered--almost! haha!

Colby has broken through 3 out of 4 first molars. Once this 4th one breaks through he'll have 12 teeth. :) Mouthful! Just like his brother did at his age! So needless to say, he's been pretty cranky off & on for the last couple of weeks. Sleeping really well, though. Only woken up a couple of times with it. A little Motrin & he's good as new. :) Bless his heart. No fevers or trouble eating, that's good--wouldn't want him wasting away! Only 26# ya know!! :)

He's such a funny little pistol. Ornery as heck, and cute as they get. :) We always say that along with being a pistol comes a personality that won't quit. :) He's very smart and funny. Loves to use anything for a step--be it a tractor, or book, or ball....yeah, doesn't work real well. But he tries!! Runs around and giggles with his brother. Points at anything he can see and wants, even if he knows better. :) Tries to pull the lamp off of the table constantly. Throws as much food as he eats, but still wants more! lol. Loves choo-choo trains too, does the "toot-toot" with his little chubby arm. :) LOVES Blue's Clues and Mickey Mouse. :) Goes over to his door and says "Ni-Ni" when tired. :) Plays so well with his brother. It's so fun watching them become friends. :)

Ryan's the sweetest kid. He takes good care of his brother. Gives him snacks & his cup, shares his beloved tractors & cars with him. Always helpin Mom. Talks all the time, just so funny to listen to him jabber. Has picked out LOTS of fun toys for Christmas, and talks about giving some other kids toys too. :) Got to spend the night with PaPaw & BooBoo--what fun!! Rules their house, that's for sure. Still laugh that his name means "Little King"....how perfect!! But he's such a good boy. So funny, the things he comes up with. Told me the other day we need a girl baby, with a pink hat. Oh no...where did that come from!?!? No clue. I think I convinced him that just Him & Colby were just perfect. : ) lol. Kiddo sings all the time, new favorites he's memorized are "Old McDonald" and "Jesus Loves Me". He even thinks "Jesus is strong b/c he takes his vitamins like me, Mom"!!

Um, yes. A funny story, actually. Looked outside & there was a chicken on my van!! haha!! The boys got a huge kick outta that!! It had been outside drivin the poor dog crazy, and just thought it needed a rest, i guess!! how funny!!!

He wants a banana every morning for breakfast! He goes to the counter and points and says "Nana, nana"! And grins like crazy & runs to his high chair when you get it for him!

SOOO special! On my birthday, Kama had her second baby!! A sweet little girl named Alainey! I am so very in love with her. What a precious thing to have happen on OUR birthday!!
